Bridge and archives

In 1998 Kawamata and Van der Kleij were invited for a project in Museum Schloss Moyland in Bedburg Hau near Kleve (Germany). Kawamata already had the idea of presenting Van der Kleij’s archives of his work (about 7000 images) together with a new installation. Here he connected the Kawamata archives with the works of Joseph Beuys via a temporary bridge. The catalogue also resumes many of his projects and is a sort of archive in itself. The project ran in spring and summer 2003 and attracted many visitors.
